About Us
Chambers is the oldest and most established set in Northampton. Originally formed in the 1970s by barristers moving from Birmingham and London sets, chambers has retained its separate identity since that time.
Located in the heart of the town centre, we are a short walk from the Northampton Combined Court Centre and the town’s Magistrates' Court.
We are the largest set of chambers in the town and continue to look to employ a careful and measured policy of planned expansion, both of pupils and established members of the bar. This enables us to continue to meet the needs of our clients as the bar continues to adapt for the 21st century.
Whilst we pride ourselves in maintaining our status as a common law set, chambers has an emphasis on family law and criminal law. Chambers remains committed to the retention of both publicly and privately funded work.
