During her First Six she has gained experience in a variety of family and civil matters through shadowing all members of chambers. Victoria accepts instructions in relation to civil work and in all family law proceedings to include Children Law (both private and public), Domestic Abuse, Divorce and Ancillary Relief.

Background

Whilst studying for her Degree Victoria had an internship with the team that developed the first Children’s Legal Centre in Wales. This gave Victoria the opportunity to work with academics and practitioners alike in the development of both a legal service and a website platform. Victoria was also an active team member in the Bangor University Innocence unit in her final year.

After completing the BPTC Victoria was asked to return to Bangor University to spend a year as the module lead on the Tort Law module and to assist in the seminars for Contract law and Introduction to the legal system. During this time Victoria also worked as a County Court advocate regularly appearing in hearings for mortgage possessions, landlord and tenant, bankruptcy, infant settlements and return of goods.

Scholarships/Prizes Victoria was awarded the Kennedy scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn prior to the BPTC.

Victoria was awarded the Oxford University Press Prize in her final year at University.

Interests Victoria enjoys spending her free time with her husband and children at home and on days out. She enjoys walking her 3 dogs on the beach, close to her family home in Wales.
