During Lily’s first six she has gained experience in a variety of family matters through shadowing all members of chambers. Lily accepts instructions in relation to civil work and all family law proceedings to include Children Law (both private and public), Domestic Abuse, Divorce and Ancillary Relief.


Whilst studying for her law degree and BPTC part-time, Lily worked full-time in property development and management whilst also taking on a number of volunteering commitments. Lily has gained experience in working with a range of individuals in a number of fields which has given her the skills required to communicate effectively with both lay and professional clients.

Lily’s previous experience also includes volunteering at the Free Representation Unit where she represented individuals at employment tribunals, and also at the Support Through Court charity where she provided assistance to those who were faced with the prospect of representing themselves at court.

Prior to joining Northampton Chambers as a pupil, Lily took part in a Mediation course with The Society of Mediators. Lily passed the assessments and was voted ‘Best Mediator’ by her peers at the end of the course.

Interests Lily enjoys spending time with her family and is often found at her parents’ Pie and Mash shop, F. Cooke, which was the first of its kind to open in 1862. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her dogs.
